Open Sewing Time

Mondays from 11-4

Join us every Monday for some quality time with your sewing. The sewing lounge will be available all day for your sewing pleasure.  Just bring your basic quilting supplies and your projects and enjoy the day. Coffee, Tea and water will be available.

Note: Beginning in October, we'll be having a short demo beginning at 11am  on the second Monday of the Month in the lounge to show you a technique or short demonstration of a new product or notion. So come on by on every Monday for open sewing and on the second Monday, get treated to a nice demonstration.

American Sewing Guild

Second Wednesday from 7:15-9:15

A local neighborhood group of the American Sewing Guild is meeting at Quilted Bear Den. You are welcome to join us any time.

Block of the Month

Second Saturday of the Month Starting Ocotber 11

Cost $10 plus Supplies for first month.

Join us each month as we work through 12 quilt blocks each named for a State of the Union. Bring in the completed block the next month and get the next kit for free. Miss the deadline, and you’ll have to pay $5 to get the next block

Hand Appliqué Workshop

This is a great introductory class for the beginning appliquér.  You will learn the basics of appliqué while making an easy heart block

Quilting Basics

Learn the basics of Quiltmaking by Machine. You will learn rotary cutting, getting an exact 1/4” seam allowance, strip piecing, half-square triangles and flying geese units. This class is for the absolute beginning quilter.
