Hello Visitors to Quilted Bear Den. I
just want to post to the web
site letting you know the status of things around
here. As you know (see below) my Handiquilter 16 was
lost with Hurricane Irene. The insurance covered
some of the losses from the water, but I just don't
have the ambition to quilt right now. I've also
moved to New Hampshire and working at the local
hospital, which is what I have my college degree in,
so I'm back to where I started, in a small hospital
in the country and loving every minute of it. I'll
post more as thing develop.

Quilted Bear Den is now officially closed. Besides
the economy, which was the main reason for closing,
Hurricane Irene filled the parking lot with 3 feet
of water, flooding the entire first floor of the
building. Any hope to sell off the remaining
inventory on the web site is now not possible.
My machine quilting business is also in limbo as the
Handiquilter 16 was still in the store and sat in
water for one full day. I have water damage
insurance which I hope will cover everything that
was lost. If anyone needs to get in touch with me,
